It all started with ….
a Polaroid Camera that I was given by my parents as a young boy similar to that shown in the image below. I loved the fact that the images were instant, I must have taken hundreds if not thousands of photographs.

When I was at …..
school I stayed behind one day a week and took evening classes and really started to love it. I was taught how to improve my photography with a professional Nikon camera (I still use NIKON cameras today).

I was taught how to produce my own photographs in the darkroom during those evening classes at Prince Rupert School (PRS) in Rinteln, Germany.
Many a likeminded young and some very capable photographers were in that group and we went to so many fabulous locations as a group to practice and improve those skills whilst under the tuition of someone I considered to be a genius.
I was later to take many photographs whilst I was in the army, and I travelled around many countries I was posted to, and yes I took many more photographs, but the real photography started when I left the army in 2003, since I have more time to learn and improve my photography.
And today …..
I am continuing to learn and the journey has really begun, and I am sharing it all with you via YouTube (Vlogging) and Instagram and here on this website travelling around this and other countries, so thank you for joining me and I hope you too enjoy this ride.
