Day out tomorrow

Well, even if it is potentially just the one day.
It has taken a while but as I have no date for my surgery, mine operation was cancelled at the last minute yesterday, I have decided to postpone my self imposed isolation period and I am venturing out again tomorrow with my cameras.
It has been a long while since my last trip out and I am really looking forward to it, and it is an exciting location too, should get some really good photographs.
I have to now try and remember all the tools of the trade and try not to forget something silly, important and probably small. Going to be spending my day packing as I am leaving really early. Might even get to use the NIKKOR MC 105 Z wouldn’t that be nice.
So, watch this space, images will go up over the weekend at some point.

All packed. The problem is you never know if you have everything until you are there and then it is simply too late. I have gone through everything in my head pretending I am vlogging, pretending I am taking those photographs – Long Exposure, do I need a cable release, which tripod, lenses cameras the list is actually longer than you think.
I am actually excited too, I am meeting a friend there and I find him to be really good company and fun more importantly inspirational, something we all need from time to time.
We also seem to have a break in the weather, god it has been really bad of late with pouring rain, strong winds and ohhhh it has been so cold. But this weekend we are, so we are told, having a freak warm spell. I will still need a coat, hat and probably gloves but they are all ready – just in case :)
