And remember to look around the site, you may have missed some of the photographs.
Unfortunately, I won’t be able to get out again this weekend due to a serious issue with the van’s suspension.
The vehicle is currently with Ford undergoing essential safety checks, but the outlook in terms of timing is not encouraging.
As the van continues to age and the mileage mounts, keeping it safely and reliably on the road is becoming an increasingly uphill battle. If these ongoing issues continue, replacement may eventually become unavoidable — a decision I am doing everything I can to delay.
The last vlog I did was created just before Christmas and released on Christmas Day, clearly a mistake on my part as it has not had too many views.
I visited The Broadlands Lake near Southampton, just off the M27. What a beautiful place to photograph but on this occasion it was the wrong time of day.
As I have been a little under the weather of late, I spent three days of last week out walking. To make those walks somewhat more exciting I took the OSMO 360 with me on its stick and videoed the walk around and within the grounds, including the Church and Keep, of an old English Castle.
The castle is located in Portchester (Portchester Castle) and has a lot of history to it. I have tried to share some of that history in the video to add a little more interest, well not everyone will be able to get here to look at the castle themselves.
The finished video is now on my YouTube channel, you may find it interesting?
Something will be coming out later in the week, and it is slightly different to my normal stuff that’s due to my current health issue. Would love to know your thoughts, thanks.
Well it is done! I had one of my images printed onto wallpaper and I have spent most of the past weekend putting it onto the wall I put up in the ‘out house’ which now acts as a partition from the storage area and work/rest area.
Looks pretty good to me but I’ll never be employed as a decorator.
I went out on Sunday as I believed it was going to be the final opportunity after my knee procedure, which was carried out yesterday.
Although I was meant to be resting my legs I found it terribly boring sitting in front of the television, where nothing was on and decided to take my camera kit in the van down to the new forest to photograph a bridge surrounded by some of the most stunning colours I think I have seen in a long time.
Having had the surgery now yesterday! I today have spent the entirety editing the photographs and video for the blog which is due to go up this Saturday morning on my YouTube channel. (I’ll put a link below to the channel if you’re interested)
I’ll share one of the photographs on here to give you an idea of what I was able to capture, but I am not going to share with you the best images for that you will have to watch the Vlog! :)
