The images taken on our roadtrip to Northumberland have now been added to the website. This trip was organized by Ginger Captures and we were accompanied by 4 other photographers. The trip was fantastic, I don’t think I have laughed so much since I left the army in 2003.
Just go to the menu, at the lower end, and select your page within that group.
I have just uploaded the images I have from Canada, and I have about 10 photographs of about the 2000 taken over the 2 weeks we spent there remaining. I truly have no idea where these images are going. I did have a phase where I uploaded them to Adobe Lightroom and they would disappear from my files on my Mac, why I have no idea, but to prevent loss of files I would create a copy on the same drive.
My Hard Drives with all my photograph files
I have looked over the five HD’s I have attached to my Mac, my one drive account and in some other places but I am not able to locate ANY of the RAW files, all have gone? I can only think they too were on the Hard Drive that failed taking all with it.
At lunch time today I sat in the Van looking for errors on the work I had done over the past few days. I found a few and I am glad to say they are now corrected, if you saw those please accept my apologies.
The Golden Gate Bridge, San Francisco, USA – so many gone.
I have now added the ability for you all to leave comments on the pages, please feel free to use that option. I have plenty of other images yet to be added which I will continue to do at hast over the next few days before I return to work on Monday next week.
One of the only images I have left from YBOR.
I have lost, it would seem, many of my images taken in the United States which is very upsetting as there are some places I will never get the opportunity to return to, New York, Washington DC, San Francisco and Boston for instance. I lost a hard drive (corrupted) a couple of years ago. I thought those images would be on my cloud with Adobe but I cannot see them not can I figure out how to recover them even if I could find them.
Anyway, I will continue to try, and if I am able to recover them I will add them to the website.
Those abroad will be thinking what is that all about.
Well friends, this is a well presented displayed of large horse heads and Scottish mythology that I believe represents evil. They, the horses, await you with the intention to drag you into the depths of the water, they especially love children, so keep them tightly by your side when visiting.
They also have a few tricks under their sleeve, transforming into humans to lure you to them but look out for the signs maybe a bit of seaweed in their hair, on their shoulder or maybe their feet are not what they are supposed to be as a human would be?
I could be wrong of course, but then that’s for you to decide.
Take a look at these large horse heads and maybe plan a wee trip yourself.
On the day it rained constantly and the sky was god awful so this has had a sky replacement and a few other changes to make it a much nicer looking image.
With the sky replacement and a few other changes
I don’t make a habit of changing skies etc as I do not agree with it but this is somewhere I will never return to and well, this just works.
I will add the actual image below
The image taken on the day with little done to it – other than a similar crop.
Look at this, I don’t post for ages and all of a sudden I cannot keep away from the thing.
I have been going at it this afternoon, I have added many new images and pages to the site. For instance on the menu look at Norfolk! I think I have added all the mills I have photographed to date, though as I type this I think I may have yet to include Herringfleet Mill? (Best do that now) (Now here)
St. Benets Mill
I have done other areas of the site too, so many I forget so please have a look and please leave a comment, share the website on your social media platforms and just say hello.
A couple of years ago I came across this field of stunning red trees, this is one of those photographs hanging in the lounge of our house, and I am pleased to say many others as it appears to be a favorite.
Very disappointed in my not managing to get out over the weekend, I had stuff ongoing last week at home (decorating) and I fell ill on Friday evening through the weekend.
Chesterton Mill – from a week ago.
Today is Monday and I have had to call in sick, something I hate doing as I feel I am letting others down but with V&D there is really no other choice.
I am planning on another trip to the Norfolk Broads in the coming weeks, if not this week? I also want to get out there and do some woodland photography, but the issue is where?
One of the towers at Pisa – fine art style.
I have over the past few days added many new pages and photographs to the website, which as you may know is very time consuming but I do love doing it, I love to share my photography with you all.
Anyway, it gives me today to do what I can in the remaining hours on the website and other things.
