Festival is a British music festival which takes place annually in Newport on the Isle of Wight happened to be on at my time of calling and caused all sort of pain with diversions.

I managed to arrive early enough to evade the large queues and get to Compton Bay with many hours to spare. Due to the festival spaces on the ferry were limited to only three slots left on my 10AM crossing and 2 on my 11.05PM return slot.

In hindsight I should probably have gone another weekend, but I had arranged to meet an old friend on the Island, so I took those slots remaining.

I arrived in time to look around the beach for the spots I would ideally like to photograph (forgetting in my haste about low and high tide) took my B Roll and left to meet and old army friend.

I returned to find the water out by about 100 meters and all those plans I made were lost, but I managed to capture some great images.
