The weekend was not really about the photography, and I went unprepared if I am honest. It was always in the back of my mind and because of that I took the equipment, well most of it.

We (my wife and I) headed into Lowestoft in the van to just relax. We went into town to find a quiet place to eat and whilst eating I asked the question “anywhere nice to photograph” and was directed to the beach. It was there I saw these magnificent groynes and far away on the horizon these ‘buildings’?

Again I asked the question and was told they were bird sanctuary’s and so the journey began . . . .
