is located is just off the North Sands near Hartlepool and is a 2,000 foot long pier built in the 1960’s to pipe sea water for the magnesia treatment works.
Destined to be knocked down at some point, the pier is a magnet for many photographers offering some fantastic opportunities mainly during the sunrise period. I decided to stay for about 30 hours to see what I could capture during that period and I would like to share those photographs with you now.
