The Broadlands Lakes in Hampshire, near Romsey, are a premier carp fishing destination set on an 82-acre estate, featuring several lakes and river stretches fed by the River Test, known for large specimen fish like carp (to 39lbs+), pike, tench, and bream, with excellent facilities including a clubhouse, cafe, and tackle shop, offering a mix of day-ticket and syndicate fishing with features like islands, humps, and margins for challenging angling.
I was very kindly granted permission to photograph the Lakes just before Christmas 2025, beautiful area that would present some stunning photographs under the right conditions.
