The City of Churches.

For some inexplicable reason, we went in February; it was freezing, with everything blanketed in snow and ice, and it felt like the temperature dropped more each day.

The good thing is there were few tourists and you could get a seat in the cafes as people stayed home, that is, other than those poor workmen clearing the streets of the white stuff.

But this is a beautiful city and comes highly recommended if you are looking for a quick break! Just plan your visit when the weather is warm.
