The Norfolk Broads are normally stunning anyway but on this day it was even better than normal. I managed to capture the Mill in some of the best light I have seen in a while, and then the fog came rolling in to make it an even better day of photography.
A week in Croatia just was not enough. The stunning weather, the heat and the beautiful people. We travelled many area where we were staying and I managed to get out in a boat to photograph the dolphins, that was amazing.
Not quite the weather we had in mind but it actually worked with the subjects I went to photograph. I would have of course preferred those beautiful red skies with a stunning sunset, sadly that doesn’t happen all the time.
The Sanctuary’s and Groins of Lowestoft We (my wife and I) headed into Lowestoft in the van to just relax. We went into town to find a quiet place to eat and whilst eating I asked the question “anywhere nice to photograph” and was directed to the beach.
Something totally different for me, the Mach Loop in Wales. Photographing fast moving jets, great fun and some good results.

It was always going to be a tough shoot in this sort of weather but I had already made my mind up, I was going to get a shot.
Pin Mill is a hamlet on the south bank of the tidal River Orwell, on the outskirts of the village of Chelmondiston, on the Shotley peninsula in southern Suffolk.
Another one of those stunning locations you simply have to photograph. The location offers some great long exposure opportunities even if your time to get those images is limited because of the time.

Happisburgh Lighthouse in Happisburgh on the North Norfolk coast is the only independently operated lighthouse in Great Britain. It is also the oldest working lighthouse in East Anglia.
The Low Lighthouse is one of three historic lighthouses in Burnham-on-Sea, Somerset, England, and the only one of the three which is still active. It is a Grade II listed building and stands on the foreshore. First lit in 1832, the Low Lighthouse operated in conjunction with the High Lighthouse for 137 years.
Munich, Bavaria’s capital, is home to centuries-old buildings and numerous museums. The city is known for its annual Oktoberfest celebration and its beer halls, including the famed Hofbräuhaus, founded in 1589.
Cobbolds Point Felixstowe Suffolk UK, is a very interesting area of Felixstowe, there are two main sea defences going in opposite directions, Its a really great place to take long exposures (LE) in any weather conditions.
This Norman church, which was built in the 12th century, is situated at the centre of a Neolithic ritual henge earthwork. The unusual pairing of the henge and the church symbolises the transition from pagan to Christian worship.

Trwyn Du Lighthouse, also known as Penmon Lighthouse, is a lighthouse between Black Point near Penmon and Ynys Seiriol, or Puffin Island, at the eastern extremity of Anglesey, marking the passage between the two islands.
Mary’s Shell is a piece of public art locate on Cleveleys Beach near Blackpool. A metal sculpture, it’s part of the Mythic Coast art trail which brings the story of the Sea Swallow. I have made two separate trips to Cleveleys to photograph the shell, both sets of photographs can be accessed here.
Lake Vyrnwy is a reservoir in Powys, Wales, built in the 1880s for Liverpool Corporation Waterworks to supply Liverpool with fresh water. It flooded the head of the Vyrnwy valley and submerged the village of Llanwddyn.

Seaford Head is one of the best spots where you can enjoy the iconic view of the majestic Seven Sisters Cliffs. When I arrived it was a beautiful sunny day, unfortunately that was short lived and the clouds and then the heavy rains followed cutting my visit short.

The Tipner Crane and Shipwreck Located in Tipner near Portsmouth the shipwreck has been a favourite for the local photographers for many years. Producing some stunning images the boat can be seen just off the M275 as you leave the city.
This has to be one of my favourite locations to date, this is something I have been trying to capture for a long period of time. The Reservoir was a beautiful and the sound of the water pouring down the drains was deafening, just stunning.

I was confronted by a stunning sight as I looked across the water from Hayling Island towards Portsmouth and the Spinnaker Tower.
I heard that Paul Compton (a Vlogger I enjoy watching on YouTube) was on the Island so I arranged a meet and caught the 5am ferry to the Island from Portsmouth. I met up with him a the Bembridge Lifeboat station and vlogged the trip.
The Spinnaker Tower is located in old Portsmouth and is a favourite location of mine to photograph as it is reasonably local and easy to get to should the need to get out with the camera suddenly come over me as in this case.
I used to live close to the beach and in all honesty I never heard of it, that is until I was looking through Instagram at other people images one day. I was puzzled as to where it was and went down one day, I have now been a few times, rather beautiful location and often find myself there alone in the blissful quiet, perfect!
A trip to the countries capital to photograph some of the tourist attractions, there are many beautiful attractions and there was too little time.

In its tranquil South Downs National Park setting, the beautiful St Hubert’s, affectionately known as the Little Church in the Fields, dates back to the 11th century.

Blackpool is a seaside resort on the Irish Sea coast of England. It’s known for Blackpool Pleasure Beach, an old-school amusement park with vintage wooden roller coasters. Blackpool Illuminations is an annual light show along the Promenade.
The impressive Blackchurch Rock, which is a large arch stack found at Mouthmill, provides exposures of the Hartland Quay Shale that contains goniatite fossils.
Isle of Wight is a constituency represented in the House of Commons of the UK Parliament since 2017 by Bob Seely, a Conservative. Created by the Great Reform Act for the 1832 general election, it covers the whole of the Isle of Wight.
My favourite place to go and photograph is Cornwall and the most beautiful spot is St. Michael’s Mount.
